Species description

Quadrula pustulosa

No conservation status in Kansas, populations in the Kansas River basin are declining

Formerly widespread in Kansas basin, loss from tributaries and western tributary basins except for the Saline basin, now only known from major stream and river mainstems, rarely in large numbers, some populations in Kansas may be genetically distinct, taxonomy unresloved.*
